"My wife and I are blessed with three daughters & a son. All our daughters are graduates of Electrical Engineering from London. The eldest daughter Shanika (Shani) is reading her PhD on Optical Fibre Back Grating, and is scheduled to complete in 2013 from City University, London. My second daughter, Nilushika (Nilu) got married to Dhammika who is also a Telecom Engineer and both of them resides in Canberra, Australia. My youngest daughter Jayanika (Jay) is studying at Imperial College London for her MSc in Electronic Circuit Designing. My youngest – son, Purna (Puni) is studying for his GCSE O-Level at Maris Stella College Negombo, Sri Lanka.

I am retired from the position of Chief Network Officer at Sri Lanka Telecom. For the last 25 years I have being lecturing at Moratuwa University as a visiting lecturer and most recently Sabaragamuwa Campus as well. I am also the chairman of Claire’s Information (PVT) Ltd, a web and IT solutions company. In addition to my Communication Consultancy work, I further enjoy social work and conducting confirmation classes for the Catholic Church. My wife Vinodini is managing all home activities and coordinates with all the children."
